Meet Your SLP

Hello, my name is Shelby! I am originally from Prattville, Alabama, but have grown up spending many weekends in the area at the lake. Having a servant’s heart and passion to help people has shaped me and my path for a career in Speech-Language Pathology. I have always enjoyed helping and loving people by giving my time and services.  I look forward to helping your child to gain the skills to communicate with loved ones and peers!

I graduated from Auburn University in 2020, where I got my Bachelor’s of  Science in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies.  Following my time at Auburn, I attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. I graduated from Samford in April of 2023 with my Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. 

Some fun facts about me!

• I got married in late November at the Children's Harbor Chapel! I am now Shelby Watts, M.S., CCC-SLP.

• I have a sheepadoodle named Bogie, who loves to swim and ride the boat! As well as a bernedoodle named Berkeley! They both enjoy coming to work with me and being around children!

• I love to play golf! I have played since I was 4 years old. 

• I love to travel! I have traveled to 9 different countries and across the U.S. Some of my favorite trips have been medical mission trips to Ecuador, Guatemala, and India where I was able to work with local hospitals, schools, and orphanages to provide speech-language treatment.
